Review:

A bizarre video that makes no rhyme or reason is the only way to describe Lunatic Night. It is unclear if the story is purposely chaotic but anyone who attempts to make sense of it is guaranteed to cause themselves severe mental damage.

The animation is subpar and so is all other aspects of the production. The only treat is that there seem to be a number of "in" jokes for otaku (dedicated anime fans), such as one character appearing in a costume nearly identical to that of Lum from Urusei Yatsura.

Volume 1: "Volume 1" Plot Summary:

The story, what little there is, revolves around a 19 year Tokyo resident called Kamizaki. This young man is the long lost king of Atlantis and he is needed back at the Tower of Babel in order to prevent the destruction of the world.

Ready to assist him are three sex-starved assistants; Kuaru, a dog-girl; Karura, a bird girl, and Neptune, a female mechanical genius. Standing in their way is a pale man called Mutsuki, who wants the power of the Tower himself.

The level of absurdity is extreme, and elements change willy-nilly (such as the hero's body). But, the big question is will our hero get out of the bedroom long enough to stop the destruction of the world?
