Review:

A story by the prolific Johji Manabe, Capricorn is a fun but ultimately average adventure. Packed with Manabe's trademark "animal people", cute girls, and evildoers bent on world domination, it will satisfy most viewers. The story moves along at a reasonable pace and the animation is okay but does not distinguish itself in any one field. The music is tinny and the subtitles are a bit small but nothing is fatal.

Volume 1: "Capricorn" Plot Summary:

Taku Shimamura, a teenage boy, finds himself transported to a strange world called Slaffleaze. There, he meets a young dragon-woman called Mona. She is the last of her kind, the Yappi. Together, they must defeat General Zolba, who plans to rule both worlds. There are plenty of dragons, battles and flying action before it is all over.
