Episode 1: Gunm: Rusty Angel
Cyber Doctor Ido, scrounging through the junk pile beneath the floating city of Zalem for cybernetic parts, discovers the still-living carcass of Gally. Amazed that she is still living, he rushes her home and repairs her.
Soon, she is up and about. She becomes interested in the mysterious late night activities of Doc Ido and follows him one night. It turns out that Doc Ido moonlights as a bounty hunter. But, while fighting a particularly nasty criminal, Doc Ido is overwhelmed.
Gally leaps out to defend him and ends up revealing hidden fighting skills that allows her to defeat the monster. Soon thereafter Gally enrolls to be registered as a bounty hunter. Meanwhile, a local boy, called Yugo, has a nocturnal activity as well. He is a spine thief who is trying to save enough money to buy his way into Zalem, via a shady dealer's promise. Gally, still very innocent to the ways of the rough and tumble world of the scrap yard, decides to help Yugo earn the money.
Episode 2: Gunm: Tears Sign
Gally's skill as a fighter draws unwanted attention and she finds herself fighting other bounty hunters. Meanwhile, Yugo ends up on the bounty list after a botched attempt to steal a spine. This leads to a competing bounty hunter tracking down Yugo and mortally wounding him.
Enraged, Gally fights the ruthless hunter and defeats him. Gally races the barely alive Yugo alive to Doc Ido and pleads for him to save the dying boy. Doc Ido saves Yugo the only way he knows how, by making him into a cyborg.
Unfortunately, the shock of becoming a cyborg is too much for Yugo and in a fit of madness; he tries to climb to Zalem via the massive tubes that connect the floating city to the ground. Gally races after him, to prevent him from being to destroyed, but she cannot reach him in time. But, before Yugo falls, he is able to tell Gally how happy she made him during the time he did spend with her. Gally returns to Doc Ido and this is where the video ends.
