Episode #1- Round 1: I'm Going to be a Pro Wrestler
Ayane Mitsui, a teenage girl in her final years of High School, has one dream, to be a pro wrestler. To achieve this dream, she skips school and attends a pro wrestling tryout. But she ends up flying out of the ring and her big chance.
Disheartened, she heads home. But along the way she meets Kunimitsu Tangay, who claims he is an independent trainer and he sees great promise in Ayane. He persuades Ayane to join his gym and she does. Now Ayane is training in secret after school and only her close girlfriend, Kayoko, knows what is going on.
But Ayane's training seems strange for a pro wrestler. It focuses on high kicks and boxing. When Ayane tries to confront her coach on the matter, he tells her it will be another ten years before they get to the other wrestling skills. Ayane accepts his explanation and the training continues, often late in the nighttime darkness.
Finally, the big day of Ayane's debut arrives. She marches out and enters the ring. But to her shock, she learns that this the All-Japan Kickboxing Competition. She turns to her coach and bawls him out for his deception. Tangay counters, saying that Ayane had ample time to search out the truth - if she had wanted to. All this banter just enrages Ayane's opponent, a tough looking blonde woman.
The fight begins and round one does not go well for Ayane. She is too tangled up in her anger towards the coach and the missed opportunity to be a pro wrestler to focus on the fight. Complicating matters, Ayane's friends, Kayoko and the young man, Kappei, are in the audience. So are her principal and vice principal, sitting ringside. But Ayane manages to survive to round two of the fight.
The coach implores her focus on the skills they trained for but she wants nothing to do with him or his advice. She comes out swinging but ends up resorting to a wrestling move to end the round. It allows her to advance to the third round but puts in a position that she must score a KO, due the penalty points she received for the wrestling take down.
Her opponent is determined not to lose to a greenhorn like Ayane and comes out with blood in her eyes to start the final round. The two trade blows but Ayane is getting worst that she is giving. At one point, the ref has to ask if she wants to continue, but Ayane fights on and finally, in the last moments of the fight, with a vision of her pro wrestling idol in her head, Ayane unleashes a powerful high kick to her opponents head, knocking her out.
Ayane is victorious and she celebrates but landing a roundhouse blow on her coach's face. But trouble is lurking in the wings from both directions. The vice-principal has finally realized where her knows Ayane from and a prima donna kickboxer swears that she will be the one to finish off Ayane because no one upstages Sakurako.
Episode #2 - Round 2: The Nasty Ponytail
Sakurako is miffed that Ayane has stolen all of the headlines with her debut win. She is determined to defeat the upstart in one decisive bout and arranges to put her plan in action. She meets with Tangay to challenge Ayane to a match but Tangay says that he can not speak for Ayane. This results in Sakurako arriving outside Ayane's school with the press in tow. She holds a loud and flashy press conference in which she taunts Ayane to come out and face her.
Meanwhile, the fight has caused all sorts of problems for Ayane. At first, she figures that it is all over and she is done with kickboxing. But Kappei has dreams of profiting off his closeness to Ayane and chases her around with magazines and the like for her to sign. While running with a stack of magazines, he bumps into the vice-principal who uses them, along with Sakurako's challenge, as grounds for expulsion.
Later, Ayane runs into Tangay at a local diner, where he works as a waiter to support his gym where he applies pressure to Ayane to accept Sakurako's challenge. All of this results in Ayane being put into a position that she must fight Sakurako and if she wins, she can stay in school but a lost may result in expulsion.
A montage of training exercises ensues with Ayane shown training in a "Rocky Balboa" mode while Sakurako benefits from the most advance training technology available. Finally the day of the big fight arrives.
In Round one, Sakurako prevents Ayane from making contact by repeatedly kicking her in the same place on the stomach. Ayane swings and swings but only manages to wear herself out. Then in round two, Sakurako changes tactics and uses powerful punches to knock Ayane about.
She goes down twice but is revived each time by pleas from Kayoko, who has been helping with the training. She implores Ayane to remember their promise of "graduating together." Mercifully, the round ends and Ayane drags herself back to her corner.
In the final round, the coach begs Ayane to reach deep inside herself and find her strength. He says Ayane can win because she has more to lose. Ayane takes a deep breath and charges back out into the fight. The two fighters match blows and the battle seems to be a stalemate. Then Sakurako begins to taunt Ayane about her dream to be a pro wrestler quietly under her breath. But this has the opposite effect from what Sakurako intended.
Instead of disheartening Ayane, it focuses her. Not even a hard blow square on Ayane's face appears to have an effect. Then Ayane releases her "golden high kick." This time, instead of knocking out the opponent though, the kick cause enough injury that Ayane wins the fight on a technical knock out. Sakurako, leaves the ring but yells back "You did not defeat me" to Ayane.
The next day, Ayane is back in school but she is still bothered by the nature of her victory. Kayoko asks her why but before she can answer, the coach comes riding up on a bike saying that Ayane's next match has been set. Ayane takes off running and this is where the video ends.
